For the crime of political violence based on gender, the former PRI Secretary of Linking, Nallely Gutiérrez, filed a criminal complaint against the national leader of the party, Alejandro Moreno, before the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City (FGJCDMX).
In an interview, she reported that with this complaint, there are now three against “Alito” Moreno, including one for threats, another for an electoral crime also related to political gender violence. Additionally, one was filed with the Financial Intelligence Unit (UIF) for potential financial crimes.
“This brings me to the risk I am facing from Alejandro Moreno, and since yesterday, when I filed a complaint with the UIF against him for possible financial crimes. Yes, I fear for my life and my family’s safety,” Gutiérrez Gijón warned.
She reported that through social media and phone calls, she has suffered personal attacks, which led to her filing the complaint against Alito Moreno this Thursday before the FGJCDMX.
“We cannot leave it unpunished for them to treat us this way. I know I am right, and I am properly arguing each of the pieces of evidence I have presented to the authorities, who are in charge of making the necessary legal decisions to safeguard my physical integrity and that of my family,” she stated.
