As governor of Campeche, Alejandro “Alito” Moreno awarded contracts worth 27.6 million pesos to a company owned by the family of Rolando Elías Wismayer, a former Green Party (PVEM) legislator and a key operator within the party’s inner circle.
The company was originally established to organize diving tours, maritime trips, and social events such as weddings and quinceañeras. However, when “Alito” Moreno took office in Campeche, the company was transformed into a financial consulting and legal advisory firm.
In addition to altering its corporate purpose to secure contracts, the company implemented a strategy to conceal its activities by changing its name. Through this approach, under two different corporate names, they secured three direct contracts from the Campeche Integral Port Administration, a state-owned entity, in 2016 and 2018.
